In an effort to speed my blogging along I'm going to just post a bunch of pics of the trip without much story. We stopped in Denver twice, once on the way out west and once on the way home. The first stop included meeting LOTS of family at the family reunion and LOTS of playing with cousins. The kids were thrilled that Aunt Karen had both teenage kids AND little kids to play with. Sara is especially grateful to her cousin Saedra for introducing her to the wonderful world of Minecraft and Jayde for all the drawing time. Matthew's favorite game was "Attack Tyler Time!!!!!!" We had lots of fun in Denver. We went out to eat at some really great restaurants and went to the zoo. Mostly we had a ton of fun just playing with and getting to know out cousins! Sara spent almost an entire day face-painting and re-face-painting the girls. She got pretty good at it....check out the awesome butterfly towards the bottom of the post.
I was also able to see one of my dearest friends. Everyone always asks if we are sisters and we've gotten to the point of just saying yes. So great to see Kristin after almost 2 years. We discovered that we've been sporting basically the same swimming suits 1600 miles apart.
