SINK!

So last week Sean came home and asked "What project should I work on today?" I said "Why don't you fix the leaky sink that's been leaking for a month." This all sounds very innocent, but it turned into disaster. Sean found the leak and went to Home Depot to buy a washer or two to fix the faucet. When he took it apart it disintegrated. He tried everything he could think of but decided in the end we needed a new sink. Since we had to get a new sink I decided we should rip out the the old broken mini dishwaher...it would be better to have a hole in the cabinets then a mildew smelling green machine. So Sean ripped out the sink (which has probably been leaking for the last 15 years) and the back support for the sink was so corroded that it just fell apart. The counter that was over the dishwaher was also very corroded, but didn't collapse. We couldn't replace everything, so Sean built a new support for the back and built a support to hold up the counter and put the new sink in. Now we just have to figure out what to do with the hole. But I have a shiny new sink!
